TORRE SOMESO. A CORUÑA

S+A y Rubio Arquitectura ganan el concurso restringido para el proyecto de una torre cuyo diseño de respuesta a las relaciones espaciales de su entorno, así como a las condiciones ambientales y climáticas de Galicia. Se proponen dos torres de alturas dispares, siendo uno de ellos el edificio más alto de A Coruña, que se elevan del suelo mediante una serie de apoyos troncopiramidales.

S+A and Rubio Arquitectura wins a restricted competition to develop a tower project that answers not only to the spatial relations with its surroundings but also to Galicia’s environment and climatic conditions. Two towers which vary in height – one of which will be the tallest tower in A Coruña- are proposed. Both of them elevate themselves from the ground throughout several pyramidal, trunk-like supports.
